Amano

I have many different inspirations in my artwork. One of these I would like to share with is Amano. His work is gratifying to me because it reminds you to be free and loose. There is a craft to it, but the flow of his brush strokes and the vibrant use of color whisper to you to draw out side your boundaries.

Many of you are familiar with him from his work on the Final Fantasy series. His artwork though spans further beyond into other cultures as well. Take a look at his web site, the U.S. and the Japanese site (Japanese version is better) and enjoy one of greatest artists of our generation.
